This is an independent & selective roleplay blog for DRAGON NO SHIRYU of Masami Kurumada's SAINT SEIYA. Heavily Headcanon & Anime-based with mild manga influences.
Established 2015 & Penned by Brooklyn.
Be not afraid of growing slowly be afraid only of standing still.
He spotted the Dragon Bronze Saint long before he allowed himself to be seen. As the former Sea Dragon general of Poseidon, he had developed the ability that allowed him to become invisible to unsuspecting eyes. A simple trick of the tiny bits of water molecules that remained in the air like dying flies.
When the boy came closer, Kanon relaxed his Cosmo, allowing the thin veil of invisibly to fall away. The Gemini sat upon a tall rock, his elbow propped against his bent knee and his chin resting on his knuckles.
❝ Dragon. ❞
Kanon spoke with mild disinterest, but the glimmer in his grave, blue eyes suspected more. Dragon Shiryu was one of the Phoenix’s companions, and seeing him run off on his own alluded todanger.
❝ Where are you heading off to so quickly? ❞
SANCTUARY was the home of those who pledged their lives to & for ATHENA, no questions asked. It was home for some, training grounds for others & a place where many come to see those who protect their goddess as she stayed there. It was almost akin to a PILGRIMAGE for some of them. He didn’t think so much of it. From time to time he’d visit when Seiya requested they meet up (he makes it seem as though they go EONS without contact–he possessed a phone that he answers…on occassion).
Feet picked up in pace, almost breaking out into a brisk sprint but there was very little effort in his stride. This was a dumb competion–NONE OF THEM COULD BEAT SEIYA ON FOOT. Without the added weight of their cloths on their backs, Shiryu could keep pace but—that also meant the pegasus saint was LIGHTER on his feet as well–it bothered him not, the price for losing the game was not steep–Shiryu was not NAIVE enough to agree to unfathomable terms.
His stride came to an almost sudden full stop. The presence wasn’t enough to alert him of something nerfarious; of course there are other SAINTS here, that wasn’t unheard of. It was the VOICE that caught his attention & brought the dragon saint to a standstill. Shiryu held no rigidity in his form. It would not be wise for Kanon to cause an issue here, on sacred ground. Could he beat him on his own? Unlikely but a fight would be met.
❛ Ah–Leo’s temple. He replied. I agreed to a race with Pegasus but, I know a fool’s folly when I see one. ❜
