The words were wonderful and dangerous. He shouldn’t have said anything like that. He shouldn’t have been revealing what was hidden in his heart, not even in such an way, not when he was supposed to dedicate his life to protecting Athena. Shiryu couldn’t be first in his heart, just like he couldn’t be first in his. That was why he shouldn’t have said what I said next-but he did anyway.

“How could I ever say no? There is no way I could let you catch a cold.”

You don’t push through every moment. You pay attention. You take everything in. I like that about you— He meant every single word, he loved every moment he was allowed to spend with Shiryu. Their time… how long would it last? Minutes? Hours? Days? No, he didn’t want to think about it now. But… both would never know how long their time will last. They just had to enjoy every moment, even the small ones, as if… 

it would be their last one. 

His fingers, so gentle and careful, curled around Albafica’s silky hair. A small gesture, yet, it meant the world for this lonely saint. His azure eyes did not dare looking at the young saint, they were gazing at the fading colors of the sky, trying to find the words he was missing (which he never dare to say).

                                                                                                       ^Such _DANGER ^{laced with pretty words. Albafica was always} ELEGANT ^{with his words. The grace he carried with him was unfound. Even in his} AWKWARD STATES ^{there was a bit of grace that managed to make itself KNOWN. Shiryu always caught himself STARING at the other now (oh how rude of him). Either when they talked or when they sat in silence & just ENJOYED each other’s company, the young dragon saint always found himself STARING.}

                                                                                                      ^{From what he gathered, many too, acknowledge the face of the pisces saint. His looks caused him to} STAND OUT ^{more than he was sure he cared for. Although knowing that his} PHYSICAL FEATURES ^{were indeed alluring to many, Albafica didn’t seem to CARE & neither did Shiryu. Anyone can be BEAUTIFUL externally. But, to him, if your insides were} DEPLORABLE ^{then your looks meant} NOTHING. ^{Physical beauty was destined to die with age; there was no stopping it. A wondrous heart will} ALWAYS ^{retain its beauty & stand the passage of time.}

I do hope that we do. ❜ The question posed only caused his features to soften. The meaning behind the words sang to his heart like no other. ❛ I’d love to. ❜ He whispered; an answer meant JUST FOR HIM. Without too much movement, Shiryu turned as he moved to stand; his hands extended to the other saint to help set him upon his feet as well. They will be back; the stars will WAIT for them.}
