This is an independent & selective roleplay blog for DRAGON NO SHIRYU of Masami Kurumada's SAINT SEIYA. Heavily Headcanon & Anime-based with mild manga influences.
Established 2015 & Penned by Brooklyn.
Be not afraid of growing slowly be afraid only of standing still.
Every fiber of her being told her to bolt and run, bits of her broken soul pleaded no more torment. No more crying, no more screaming, no more showing her true colors because it left too much of a risk. But now she was stuck there, standing in front of Shiryu with a face that looked ready to breakdown into tears. Her once proudly tall stance began to crumble and bend, and just before she could slump any further her body was taken against his.
The contact was responded with a jolt of fear; she wanted to pull from his grasp and hide. That’s all she ever seemed to do when she felt herself breaking down and ready to open – to bloom just as a flower – expose all the scars, wounds and burns. So many. So, so many.
“ PLEASE DON’T… I JUST…?! ”
Even with her desperate shout her slender fingers merely dug into his side and the arm that wrapped around her back. Through her choked sobbing and crying her body completely went limp against him – sobbing and trying to talk, but all that came out were blubbers and pleads. Confusion. Usu was practically glued to him now, clutching ever tighter to his person while her face hid away in his chest, soaking his shirt.

ATHENA PRESERVE HIM IN THIS TIME OF NEED!
She tensed at his touch (she tensed at everything) & tried to SHOUT her way out of his hold (such a painful scream). But, Shiryu kept himself GROUNDED. He was UNWILLING to let her go. Unwilling to let her MASK such a broken heart any longer for hiding the pain did NOTHING to solve the issue. There was no true way to settle her UNEASY HEART. But, one thing was for certain, he was not letting her go. He was here–he WILL be here.
Eyes came to a close & his face TWISTED itself. Her pain shook him to the BONE. Knees do not give out of him now! Tighter she clutched him & more secure his hold became. There was nothing could say; NOTHING COULD BE SAID TO REPAIR SUCH DEEP WOUNDS. All the dragon could do was hold her; show her that HE WAS THERE. Give her the hope to know that HE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE.
He did not deserve her trust. He did not deserve her hope. He did not deserve her faith.
The hand that held the top of her head began to quietly SLIP down her hair & repeated the motion in order to soothe; like a MOTHER consoling her CHILD. His cheek took to the top of her head & placed itself there. Shiryu cared very little for the tear stained fabric of his shirt. He cared very little for any that saw them (this spoke VOLUMES for the man who found fear in people watching him) & he truly cared NOT for what people thought in this moment. All he cared about; all he hoped to achieve now was to calm her down. To cease her sobbing. To dry her tears.
