He was perceptive, in his blindness. It was a bit shocking. Truthfully, however, had he not been blind she would be an open book. Helen was not a good liar and her eyes gave everything away. It would seem that, even without his sight, nothing would get past Shiryu.

“The truth is, I feel I am being inconsiderate with you. I did not mean to reopen your wounds. I suppose I am just… mentally scolding myself for it.” She tries for a smile. “You are far from robotic, and as I have said I enjoy your company. Perhaps I shall be more relaxed and honest, for you.”

                                                                                               ^The WARMTH ^{that radiated from her palm almost caused him to} TENSE. ^{He heard her coming & yet her touc caught him off guard. How odd. But, The dragon shook his head towards her, for she did nothing wrong. She} _ASKED ^{a question & he} ANSWERED ^{her to the best of his ability. It is not her fault that such a time was a} SOUR ^{one. They made the best of it. They had some GOOD YEARS together until they were all separated.}

                                                                                             ^{But her KIND WORDS did not stop his} NERVOUSNESS. ^{There have been many a time when his company was WELCOMED (as they said) yet their thoughts of him changed depending on the subject at hand. He had been told that he could be a bit….}RUDE ^{with his opinion. knew his words could} HURT; ^{He has gotten far too good at separating} EMOTION FROM LOGIC ^{(or maybe he had gotten good at not caring anymore, he forgot). His APATHY has become his biggest} BRING DOWN.
