Be not afraid of growing slowly be afraid only of standing still.
“I am glad. Growing boys need lots of food. Shall you ever need it I could bring you apples from the market near my job.”
Idly, she wondered if the comment on his hair was modesty or because he was without eyesight. She abandoned the thought when she realized it was quite inconsiderate.
“All finished.” Helen announces, finishing off the braid with one of her hair ribbons. She takes the
finished product and drapes it over his shoulder to grant him access, “Here, have a feel…!”
The nurse moves to take a seat in front of Shiryu, eager to see
how he felt about her work. If he couldn’t see it then perhaps he could feel it.

❛ Such a KIND SOUL you have; you do not have to go through so much trouble for me. ❜
Until now, Shiryu had only heard of MS. TUTCH from Seiya's continuously talks. The way he spoke of her; how EACH & EVERY WORD swayed in the wind whenever the pegasus saint passed by the hospital. It was COMICAL & SWEET, in a way; the way Seiya talked about her. It was nice. They all needed KINDNESS in this world. (to be apart of a world with such DESTRUCTION, KINDNESS was a necessity.)
Once she completed braiding his hair, Shiryu felt the weight press against his shoulder. CALLOUS pads of fingertips slid down EACH PART OF THE BRAID; taking in the detail & how closely woven they all were. The smile he had was still FAINT; he could only IMAGINE how it looked like via touch. How foolish he was to take his sight for GRANTED. (TO SAVE THEIR LIVES HE’D DO IT AGAIN). (did he still look SAD although no one could see his eyes? His eyes always seemed so sad, someone once said.)
❛ It feels NICE. I thank you for such KINDNESS, Tutch-san. This means a lot to me. Thank you. ❜
